Simpson's anchor bolt program is free and will print out a tomb of calculations for you. In addition to their "Strong Bolt" you can also choose Headed and L anchor bolts in groups of 1, 2, or 4 and diameters 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", and 1".
The Simpson Strong-Tie Anchor Designer Software for ACI 318 version 2.0 is now available for free download at www.simpsonanchors.com.

ACI 318 appendix D is a pox on our profession but you can buy that DS-Anchor
program to alleviate some of the pain.
I wouldn't want to be in the same cell with a couple of our former state
legislators because I think they are big guys and they would have the
run-of-the-mill cheechako biting the pillow. I think Gov. Arnold might stand
a fighting chance though.
