RE: Tension only brace frames

They can be designed as OCBF's per section 14 of AISC Seismic (341-05).

Subject: Tension only brace frames

Correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to recall a section (in some code)
that limited the use of a Tension only braces in SDC D, E, and F.

Does anyone know of this or where I can find some info on it.
Preferably from IBC 06 and ASCE 7-05.

Jason
