RE: Diagonal base shear UBC 97

Section 1633.1 requires this for certain types of irregular structures and for columns that are common to the lateral force resisting system in both directions.

In ASCE 7 a structure is to be analyzed with full base shear in one
orthogonal direction and 30% in the other orthogonal direction
simultaneously. Does the UBC-97 have a similar requirement?
