brick cladding survey

I am finishing CD's on a project (2 story steel brace bldg) where the majority of the exterior walls are clad in brick (4" nominal).  Lots of ribbon windows and punched openings.  16ft floor-to-floor heights.

 

What have others done-  metal studs braced back to the diaphragm, or a secondary structural steel system?
