RE: Wood Framed Structures - Software Survey

I use Enercalc here at work.  It’s adequate because of the variety of analysis modules it has.  For the price, maybe I’d expect more.  A few years back, when I tried a solo gig, I purchased StruCalc (www.strucalc.com) for about half(?) the price of Enercalc, and it seems to be easier to follow calcs, as well as the graphic output.  I can’t think of many negatives for Strucalc, especially when you consider the price of it…

Subject: Wood Framed Structures - Software Survey

I haven’t seen anything on this in a while, so I thought I would check.

What programs are you using for design? What are the pros and cons of the software?

Some that come to mind are:

Woodworks (Sizer, ShearWall, Connectors)

LateralPro

Enercalc

Others?

Thanks,
