Re: AISC Table X (9th Ed.) or Table 10-9a (13th Ed.)

Bill,

While downloading the AISC Engineering Journal article on how to avoid crane problems, I noticed that the same Journal (fourth quarter, 1982) has an article on designing single plate framing connections for A307 bolts. The fact that it was written by two of my former professors and a former fellow student has nothing to do with this recommendation.

Now, I realize that the procedures given are not up to date for the current design codes, but perhaps you can use the procedures given and modify them to bring them in line with current design practice.
