RE: DESIGN PROGRAMS FOR NEW CODE

WoodWorks software (Design Office 7) currently does conform to NDS 2005 (since December 2006) but we will be releasing a new version that also conforms to IBC 2006 and ASCE 7-05 in January 2008 (Design Office 8).  However, recent purchasers of DO7 upgrade for very little (ranging between $0 and about $100, depending on how recent they purchased DO7 prior to DO8 release).

Depends on what you mean.

If you need just a general analysis-and-design solution, Visual Analysis 6.0 has all the latest codes 'built in.'

Otherwise, you may need to look at the latest version of WoodWorks Design Office when it comes out (I think they're still stuck on 2001).
