analyzing reinforced concrete buildings.
I'm assuming you have a system of shear-walls and coupling beams and
you're considering translate/model the stiffness of your shear-walls
and coupling beams into stiffness of columns and beams.
Using this method to analyze a shear-wall/coupling beam system, would
yield inaccurate results.
