Are you saying GangNail no longer publishes a design manual with plate capacities and guidelines for truss design?
Also my understanding of manufactured trusses is that battens are located at and between node points, it is uneconomical to provide webs to each and every batten point. The Gangnail (old reference) recommendation is to have a 3m panel point between webs.
It should be possible to check the truss and connections, just not as quickly as using the proprietary software which is only available to manufacturers.
