graded" not just open. 130-140pcf sounds about right with water, since
solid stone tends to be about 160-170pcf, which would mean about 1/3 of
the space is open, and and extra 20-25lbs of water in those voids, along
with 105-110pcf stone, would be about 130pcf. Of course, from that
saturated weight you have to subtract the equivalent volume of water to
get the buoyant weight.
Hopefully somebody with day to day interactions with soil will respond
here - I try to avoid design which involves dirt, except where someone
gives me data for bearing capacity.
