Benjamin,
Unfortunately, I don’t have any FREE information to offer. However, our BuilderBooks division does carry several inexpensive books and videos, in both English and Spanish, on fall protection and other construction site safety topics. Here’s the direct link to the NAHB-OSHA Fall Protection Handbook: http://store.builderbooks.com/cgi-bin/builderbooks/830?id=ddUyEVp6&mv_pc=155. Granted, it’s more directed at users of fall protection systems rather than designers, but it might make a decent introduction.

Subject: fall protection systems
Hello everyone,
Newt week I'll be taking a course at
1) apply ANSI/OSHA standards to evaluate and select proper fall protection system and training personnel; 2) design fall arrest systems by calculating allowable loads on existing beams, free fall and fall distance clearances and determining the effects of swing fall; 3) recognize and describe the critical elements involved with single-and multi-span horizontal lifeline systems and will calculate reaction forces; and 4) illustrate an effective rescue plan.
Any help will be deeply appreciated.
