below the water table. The pool might try to float. When they are
replacing underground tanks up here (Anchorage AK, few pools) at gas
stations, they pour a slab that extends beyond the tank on all sides
that will be restrained by the earth above and prevent flotation. I
don't know how they handle flotation in the case of pools.
