If you are lucky, have access to the interior all around, and the contractor had to use clean-outs (and did), you can locate grouted cells that way.

No, we haven’t tried. I believe it will be difficult, unless the wall is not too thick and the reinforcing temperature is substantially different from that of the surrounding grout.
