Where you might run into "trouble" is if the intent is to do "side work". If the original poster is just working on company work from home, that is one thing. But, if the poster is planning on doing "moonlighting" then there could be issues. At a minimum, you could be violating company rules by using company resourses for non-company work. At worst, you could be violating the Autodesk license (I have never looked at it so, I do not know how the "take a copy" home bit is handled)...which could maybe get the company in trouble...and thus you eventually.
Now, even if such stuff is true, the risk is likely low...but just something to think about regardless.
