Have you tried looking for vibration mounts and linkages, and/or shock absorption. A linkage comprising of two metal brackets with elastomer linking the two.

Also polymers tend to get elasticity and pliability from absorbed atmospheric moisture, if dry out or freeze then become brittle. So may have difficulty finding elastomer with the properties you require.
