Just a couple weeks ago, our local Ram-Jack sales rep gave me a copy of “Helical Piles: A Practical Guide to Design and Installation” by Howard A. Perko, PhD, PE. It’s about a 500-page textbook-type book. While it has Ram-Jack’s name on the cover (implying that they must have paid for the research and/or publication), the rep said that it was intended to be a general-use, non-proprietary guidebook. I haven’t looked at it much, nor do I have any experience designing helical piles, so I can’t say how good of a resource it is, but it looks to be fairly thorough.

Can anyone recommend a book / manual for design of helical piles.
Thanks
