Re: Seismic Event

USGS has it as a 5.9 centered just west of Richmond, Virginia, near
Charlottesville (UVa). I've heard from people from southern NC to NY to
OH.

In Blacksburg, VA, we got 7-10 seconds of low-moderate shaking (call it
a low to mid 3 range based on my time in Cali), then a second 1-2 second
shake 45-60 seconds later. It may set a new record for Virginia,
surpassing the Narrows quake in 1897 that was estimated to be a 5.9
based on data from observers in Various east coast towns and the local
damage.
