RE: spreadsheet for structural shop drawing

This is much more than a spreadsheet.  This is what BIM aspires to do .  The model is populated by the designer and information is extracted for detailed drawing.  What you wind up with is modules that can plug and play within a common platform of information.  Tekla, Rivet, SDS, Bentley are all major players in this arena.

Eventually this will be fairly seamless, and you will be able to take it all the way to the CNC codes for fabrication.  Unless the building is incredibly simple, a spreadsheet would be insufficient.

hello out there,

Good day to you, can I ask any help if any body can have a spreadsheet or any software that can prepare shop drawings in Autocad by just giving him data he needs.

Example if I have a beam schedule or footing schedule by just providing the software with all the data and he will prepare the plan and import it to Autocad. Of course this will be done as per ACI code standard or British code standard or as requested.

Hope you can find solutions to this problems.

Sincerely yours,
