I've worked in the nuclear business for about 25 years, and the
biggest problem is that people don't trust the providers any more.
Too much money has been lost and too many promises not kept. I think
if we could do our program like France or Japan we could make a
really good show of it, but there's no technical leadership any more--
no one like Adm Rickover with a technical commitment to nuclear
power. That sort of thing doesn't happen much any more.
