RE: Australian Bldg. Code

Just making sure I hadn’t missed something. The BCA is revised every year, and until 2002 I never needed it. The referenced structural codes were obvious, but now they keep slipping in some permitted deviation or tying the other codes back to the BCA, so no longer can use the other codes without the BCA. Which is what happened in 2002 the wind loading code was deliberately tied into the BCA so cannot use without. So got to keep up on these things.

 

No need to waste time studying the BCA, it doesn’t contain anything useful :)
