For non high strength bolt, refer to table 7-18 on steel manual (13th ed) for minimum dimension of the root.

I specified 1" diameter anchor rods for a foundation. In the field I found the anchor rods having 7/8" diamenter in its threaded part. The contractor said that the anchor rods were fabricated from 1" diameter rods and some material is lost in the thread fabrication. It is correct? What specification covers de dimension and tolerances for fabricated threads?
